Barack Obama

I just finished Barack Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope”. And I have to say that I like the man. I may not agree with all of his views ( though I do agree with many), but I do agree with the way that he engages questions and issues. His views are well thought out. His points are well articulated. And, most importantly, he has real reasons for what he believes.
After finishing this book I can say that the only thing that really turns me off about Obama is that he seems to support quotas for employment and education – at least that’s the way he comes across when speaking about it. Personally, I can’t stand that. It may seem unfair, but people deserve jobs based on thier past efforts, developed skills, and God given talents. Race, Creed, and Color should play no part in your employment though there are exceptions.
So I can say that Obama not only believes in the “Audacity of Hope”, but also seems to have a very strong character and enough audacity to stand up and voice his rather well informed opinions.
